STILL NOT SURE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. IT SEEMS WATERY, NOTHING LIKE A MILKSHAKE THIN OR THICK? TRIED A LITTLE IN MY OATMEAL TO SEE IF I WOULD GET SICK AND HAVE TAKEN A SMALL SIP. I'VE MADE KEFIR WITH A PACKAGE, HAD TO COOK AND LET COOL ONLY ONCE, AS FAR AS I REMEMBER IT WAS CLOSE TO BUTTER MIK AND WITH TIME GOT THICKER. THE GRAINS DOESN'T DO THIS. DONE A COUPLE BATCHES AND SEEMS THE SAME? WATERY? GOING TO COOK ANOTHER BATCH WITHE PACKAGE AGAIN TO JUST SEE THE DIFERENCE. SCARED TO DRINK IT RIGHT NOW.

Kefir grains

First time to make my own kefir, and now I am almost making it faster than I can use it! That's a good thing though - I love it and it is super easy! I'm also a Dr Berg follower and I did not realize how healthy kefir is before listening to him. Keep up your good work!

Satisfied with the Kefir grains bought from Happy Herbalist - I did my first batches of Kefir over the past couple of days and the grains are of good quality - also, the order was carefully packed which is appreciated

Kefir Grains and Milk Ferments 2.4

I received my kefir grains and the detailed instructions which I downloaded. As instructed, I put the grains in a glass jar with a cup of cold whole milk for a couple of days. I made my first batch of kefir which took about 3 days to "wake up" my kefir grains. After that, it only took about 14 hrs. to work. So far, I love the kefir I've made and my favorite way of using is to add a fresh long peel from an orange to a quart of kefir and use the orange infused kefir over fresh cut up strawberries. I highly recommend your product to anyone thinking of trying it. I bought this on Dr. Berg's recommendation as my husband and I are great fans of his YouTube videos.

Didn't work for me! My fault? Perhaps I waited too long to start it? I thought "grains" meant "grains!"? turns out the starter is actually a liquid...tried 3 (so far) 1 cup/24 hr starts...still no sign of any "grains" OR any Kefir!

I sure would be glad to comment, seeing that I paid for the order 2 weeks ago and still do not have the product. Hard to tell how good it will work.
