Brew 6 gallon batches of Kombucha, Ginger Beer, Water Kefir, or even beer, hard cider, wine and mead. Larger volumes are possible when not using an airlock. The estimate of 6 gallons takes into account the loss from the sediment and bottom liquid.
Kombucha and vinegars ferments best in a container that is wider at the top. This allows greater oxygen exchange which creates a superior brew.
Heat resistant, Food Grade PVC plastic (Phthalate and BPA free) No unwanted flavors or odor into the ferment.
Keeps the sediment and yeast out of your brew, nice when bottling.
Produces clearer, crisper ferments.

Has a special gasket where you don’t use the typical cork and airlock. If you want to use a airlock you’ll need a lid with a gasket.
Conical Dump System: Unique to the 8 Gallon System is the Dump System. The system conical shape directs the spent yeast to the bottom of the tank and away from the spigot for greater clog free, sediment free draws. Here you can easily collect the yeasts and sediment (lees or trub) and re-use for another foment or even save for later. Dried yeast is a favorite in Health Food Store as its high in vitamins and minerals especially the B- vitamins. It is also used as a yeast nutrient for your brews if needed.
This definitely makes Continuous Brewing much easier and makes for a clearer glass of brew.
