Home Tests for Alcohol, Sugar, Acids and pH.
1) pH Test strips 2-9. Perfect for any ferment or brew, Perfect for your body's pH. 50% more accurate than regular paper 1-14.
Better Accuracy. Range 2 to 9 by 1/2. contains 100 strips. We recommend a pH below 4.0 for canned foods, fermented foods, and live Probiotic Sodas and Teas.
2). Hydrometer shows Specific Gravity from .990 to 1.170, Balling or Brix from 0 to +38% sugar by weight and Potential Alcohol by Volume from 0 to +22%. Measure Sugar levels, Potential Alcohol level, and potential Acetic Acid if vinegar brewing.
3). Ferment Stick on LCD Thermometer. Easy stick on removable temperature gauge. Temperature is a critical factor for proper brewing an dfermenting. A few degrees off can make for a very bad day after day.
4). Acid Test Kit - Test the Total Acid (TA) of beer, wine, cider, vinegar, Kombucha, Water Kefir, Ginger or any Juice.
How flavorful and acidic your brew, is dependent upon how much sugar and how much alcohol is in your brew.
