HappyHerbalist Return & Refund Policy

 Order Cancellations

  • Before Shipment: Cancel anytime for a full refund.

  • After Shipment: You may:

    • Refuse delivery (unopened)

    • Or initiate a return using our Return Form

Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable.

 30-Day Return Guarantee

If you're not satisfied with a product, you may return it within 30 days of the shipping date for a full purchase price refund (excludes shipping).

Return Requirements:

  • Items must be unused and in resalable condition

  • We recommend insured and trackable shipping

Start your return through our Return Form or by signing into your account (click the Face icon on the top-right of our site).


⚠️ Special Note on Probiotics

All probiotic products (e.g. Kombucha, Jun, Milk Kefir, etc.) are guaranteed for 30 days if used according to our instructions.

If You're Having Issues:

  • Contact us before discarding anything

  • Text photos of your ferment, grains, milk brand, and room temperature to 919-518-3336

  • We’ll walk you through setup and troubleshooting

If your expectations aren’t met after support, we’ll issue a full refund at our discretion. Return may not be required.


? Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please:

  1. Take photos of:

    • The damaged item

    • Inner & outer packaging

    • Any protective wrapping (e.g. bubble wrap)

  2. Submit the images via our Damage Claim Form

Retain all packaging — The insurance company may contact you directly for confirmation. Please hold on to all packaging materials in case an inspection is needed. If USPS is the chosen carrier, you may need to drop off the damaged item (box and all) to your local post office along with the letter USPS will send.


? International Orders

  • Customs Fees/Duties: Not covered by HappyHerbalist

  • Return Window: 30 days from delivery date

  • Non-deliverable Orders: Refunded minus shipping charges


 Shipping & Insurance

  • First Class USPS (Domestic/Intl): Not insured

  • USPS Priority: Insured up to $25

  • UPS: Insured (limits vary)

We are not responsible for delays or lost items unless third-party shipping insurance is purchased.
