Kombucha Vinegar recipes

Add 25-50% Distilled * Vinegar to our  Pure Kombucha Mushroom Pressed Extract  or use our Pure Crystal Clear Kombucha Hydrosal  to create your personal Health Elixir.

* Consider Organic and flavorful vinegars like Balsamic, Apple, Raspberry, Cranberry, Garlic, Four Thieves, etc

Consider  adding 25% healthy  OILS: Olive, Grape seed, even less tasteful flax seed

Use on salads, in soups and stews, as a marinate for vegetables or meats.

 If you prefer a live vinegar, like live apple cider, then we suggest first boiling your selection at a low boil for 5-10 minutes before adding to the Pressed Extract. These must be distilled vinegar or boiled, so the live ferment—similar to our SCOBY does not compete with our pro-biotic kombucha.

The addition of vinegar- like alcohol - will prevent any mold from forming while unlike alcohol, vinegar adds to ones health and does not make things worse as alcohol often does.

A combination of flavorful vinegar, oil and our Kombucha Pressed Extract/ HYDROSAL adds some pretty incredible taste to our lives.  

 

The Use of Kombucha Vinegar in Chinese Medicine has a long history. Originally Chinese, as other Dynasties, like the Romans and their Oxymel (vinegar & honey) understood that food was medicine, and medicine was food. To make your own Oxymel simply add 30-40% raw honey to your favorite vinegar or sour kombucha tea.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kombucha Vinegar’s flavor is sour and bitter and its nature or temperature is warm. It enters the liver and stomach channels, and its functions are that it scatters stasis, stops bleeding, resolves toxins, and kills worms. In TCM, various Chinese herbs are stir-fried in Kombucha Vinegar in order to either help target them to the liver-gallbladder or to increase their functions of moving the Qi and quickening the blood. However, in Chinese folk medicine, vinegar is a medicinal in its own right, treating a wide range of disorders and complaints, including internal medicine, gynecological, dermatological, and traumatological conditions

Angina pectoris: Kombucha Vinegar and garlic on a daily basis.

Arteriosclerosis: one Tablespoon of Kombucha Vinegar. daily

Bacterial dysentery: Thinly slice a daikon radish and place in Kombucha Vinegar and sugar. Eat two times per day.

Boils & other inflamed sores: Mix mashed garlic and Kombucha Vinegar and apply to the affected area.

Common warts: Mash a suitable amount of fresh ginger to obtain the juice. Then mix with a suitable amount of Kombucha Vinegar and apply several times per day to the warts. [cover with duct tape]

Corns: Soak Fructus Pruni Mume, (Wu Mei, or umeboshi) in Kombucha Vinegar. Then apply to the corn once per day.

Diabetes: Soak 4 oz of soybeans in water overnight. Drain and soak in 4 oz of Kombucha Vinegar for eight days. Eat three beans, 3-6 x a day.

Digestive Aid mix 25%-50% Honey to Vinegar take a spoonful a day (Oxymel)

Edema: 1. Warm 2 oz fresh ginger with 4 oz of Kombucha Vinegar or 2. Powder mustard seed and mix with Kombucha Vinegar.

Flat warts: Reduce  4 oz of Kombucha Vinegar down to 2 oz by slow cooking and apply the resulting liquid to the warts three times per day. [cover with duct tape]

Foot odor: Mix 2 oz of Kombucha Vinegar in warm water and soak the feet for 15-20 minutes two times per day. Do continuously for 7-10 days and the foot odor can be eliminated. 

Gingivitis: Gargle equal amounts Kombucha Vinegar and warm water 2X a day for 14 days.

Hair loss: Mix 4 oz of Kombucha Vinegar with 8 oz of hot water and rinse the hair with this mixture, massaging it into the scalp, once per day on a regular basis. Use as a conditioner after shampooing.

Headache: Boil some Kombucha Vinegar and inhale the fumes. Apply to the affected area as often as necessary.

Herpes zoster: Mix Kombucha Vinegar and Realgar (Xiong Huang) together and apply externally to the herpes lesion once the blister has ruptured and there is a wet, glistening, slow-healing sore.

High blood pressure: 1. Dry stir-fry 16 oz soybeans till fragrant. Allow to cool and soak in 32 oz. of Kombucha Vinegar for 10 days. Afterwards, eat the soybeans as one wants.

Indigestion from overeating: Take 1/2 oz of Kombucha Vinegar, and 1 tsp of fine green tea. Put the Kombucha Vinegar and tea leaves in a teacup and pour 16 oz of boiling water over it. Allow to steep for five minutes. Then divided into three doses and drink as needed.

Insomnia: Drink a bowl of warm water mixed with Kombucha Vinegar.

Itching: Mix soy sauce & Kombucha Vinegar apply to the affected area.

Mouth sores (including thrush): Stir-fry 1/2 oz of Fructus Evodiae Rutecarpae (Wu Zhu Yu). mix into a paste with Kombucha Vinegar. Apply before going to bed on the bottoms of the feet

Nausea & vomiting during pregnancy: Teaspoon of Kombucha Vinegar or fresh ginger juice.

Night sweats: Splash Body with Kombucha Vinegar before bed

Obesity: drink 4-8 oz of Kombucha Vinegar per day. [Before meals ]

Palmar eczema: Soak the hands for in warm Kombucha Vinegar for 10 minutes each time, two times per day.

Parenchyomycosis (fungal nails): With a knife or scissors, cut off as much of the dead nail as possible. Then soak the affected nail in Kombucha Vinegar for 30 minutes once per day.

Psoriasis: Apply strong Kombucha Vinegar 3-4 times per day.

Prevention of common cold: Soak 4 oz each of fresh ginger and garlic in 16 oz of Kombucha Vinegar in a tightly sealed jar for 30 days or more. Then drink 1/2 oz of the resulting liquid after each meal.

Sweaty feet: Boil 1 oz of Radix Sophorae Flavescentis (Ku Shen) and 1/3 oz of Fructus Zanthoxyli Bungeani (Hua Jiao, Sichuan peppercorns) in 2 oz l of Kombucha Vinegar. Apply the once each evening before bedtime. Improvement in 2-3 days and the full result in seven days. 2. Soak unroasted peanuts in Kombucha Vinegar for seven days. Do not remove the shells. Then eat 10 peanuts each morning and night. This formula can also be used for arteriosclerosis and coronary artery disease.

Thyroid swelling: Soak 2 oz dried seaweed in a suitable amount of Kombucha Vinegar. Take as needed.

Uterine bleeding: Cook 5 oz tofu with 4 oz Kombucha Vinegar.

Vaginal candidiasis & itching: Douche with 4 oz of Kombucha Vinegar in 8 oz of water once per day for 10 days. Eat once per day for 7-10 days.

Viral hepatitis &/or enteritis: 1 oz of Kombucha Vinegar 3X a day.
