Live bioactive ferment, made with sugar, water, and black tea. This Kombucha Tea has a thick rich taste. Almost like a fine European beer. Very flavorful with a good foamy head. I believe the more beer or yeasty taste comes from the sugar - either sucancant or dextrose. Most American brews use either white sugar or organic evaoporated cane sugar which leaves either a more sour taste (from over-fermenting) or a more bitter taste from the minerals remaining in the organic sugar.
