Makes about 40 cups of tea. There are roughly 30 grams per ounce. Each 4-ounce package makes about 8-10 gallons of tea.

Dragon Pearls are also known as Yin Yang Pearls, or Mo Li Long Zhu. Produced in the mountains of northern Fujian Province, China. The name yin yang refers to the appearance of the pearls - each one consists of many leaf and bud sets.This gives each pearl it unique green (yin) and white (yang) appearance.  When the leaves are pressed, or heavily rolled, more oils are released and when this reacts with the heat, results in a tea with a nutty sweet taste. The buds appear soft, downy and almost white; the leaves are a darker, richer green color. These pearls are then enriched with fresh Jasmine blossoms, the fragrance is magical. Produce clear yellow green tea with a slightly sweet, aromatic fresh flavor which is one of this tea's particular characteristics.

 

For justy a pleasant cup to relax quietly while you impress your friends  use about 2-3 teaspoons (3-4 grams) of tea leaves for every 8 ounce (240 mL) cup. If you choose to reuse allow an additional 15 seconds for each successive infusion. This tea may be infused 3 or more times.

For kombucha brewing use 12-15 grams (5-6  teaspoons, less than 1/2 ounce) per Gallon Size Kombucha Brewing. This depends mostly upon individual taste prefernce. You really only need a little bit but if you don't use enough its too weak - and if you use too many its expensive.  Do Not Boil. A steeping time of 10-15 minutes with about 70°C/160°F water is recommended, Watch for the leaves to fully open. This makes the Best Kombucha Tea I've ever tasted. This tea is very satisfying in a  continuous brewing setting, but the “window of opportunity” is much shorter that any of my other teas. I prefer to brew this tea in the single stage, which is more customary in the United Stages. By “window of opportunity” I mean the day that a particular batch of kombucha tea is just perfect: delivering the best in taste and benefit. For example on the 7 day of an 80F ferment. That window is limited to just a few short days. I say that because the flavor and aroma is just incredible on those day. So incredible I usually drink the entire bratch right away.  On the rare occasions there’s some left I bottle right away - that day. If you're one who happens to miss details at times then try Pu-erh teas which is the most awesome forgiving tea with great taste and character and the easiest to brew.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicne, Jasmine Dispels Wind, frees the channels, stops bleeding, and disperses  stasis: Used to treat Wind-Damp impediment Bi pain, hypertonicity of the sinews, swollen welling abscess, throat impediment, blood ejection, trauma, retention of lochia. The combination with kombucha tea creates a remarkable refreshing, super tasting health elixir.

Green teas, as a catagory, has less caffeine that Oolong or Black teas. However this particular green tea connsists of the younger leaf and buds which have more yang energy and caffeine that typical.

A home decaffeinate water-process: Immerse the tea in one cup of boiling water. Wait 30 seconds and remove the tea. Discard that water. Now use the tea in your regular water. 80% of caffeine is naturally extracted in hot water within the first 30 seconds. It is debated the role or benefit that caffeine plays in our lives as well as that in the life of the kombucha. Most kombucha brewers believe that some caffeine is necessary for kombucha brewing.
